man.. so many leaf fans think these kids should be able to come out of junior and step right into the NHL
its (frank)ing absurd.
how long til Nylander is sent down? now that the big boys are getting their legs he isnt nearly as dominant... completely expected as well - Dozzer
He'll be one of the final cuts after the 1st Detroit game on the 2nd of October.
That way he can go enjoy nuit blanche the following night. |

Marner was a 4th overall in a deep draft.......Nylander was an 8th overall in a mediocre draft......it's why there is a whiff of disappointment. It's just the fear of a swing and a miss, in a deep draft, when there was a number of options out there. Nylander and Marner are similar players, smallish, skilled, quick, but neither have shown the prowess to be a number one centre. This team isn't going anywhere, until that is rectified.

Oh.
My.
God.
Nylander is now 193lbs by the way. That puts him a bit heavier than Stamkos. Is he still too small? |

Yankees ended up with allot of injuries to their starting staff. It happens. I hope that the Jays can win it all, but in what I said, about the Bullpen, has happened a few times lately. Osuna is actually human. Sanchez is starting to flame out, as well. They are a bit light on the left handed pitching out of the pen.

Judging by the finale score, I'd say both teams offence were pretty..... dry |

Oh, ok. So if Texiera wasn't made of glass the Yankees would be a better team. Even though the Jays have lost their starting 2nd baseman and Shortstop. Makes sense. |

It's curious that they've waited until now, to make Nylander a centre and want to train him now. I hope that he can transition, because we really need a good number one. I fear that he ends up being a number two and that we still have that gaping hole for the foreseeable future.
