Even if that was the case the post he quoted had not a thing about either... He is just drawing conclusions because my spelling and grammar aren't up to par.

He can go back and pull up my posts on zajac ( I think he is poop ). He probably thinks I meant that jvr and kadri are = poopty as zajac ( wasn't the case ) and he also probably thinks I just think both jvr and kadri are terrible because I said I didn't want them ( and not in a trade for zajac but in general ) but because we are rebuilding and if they aren't good enough for the leafs rebuild then why should we want them for ours ?

Are you for real? So you think jvr or kadri is worth an overpriced 4th liner? As I said previously, the last player traded with that ugly of a contract and those stats garnered a player not medically fit to play.

You state to clearly know the devils situation in your previous posts so why would we want either let alone both on a team expected to finish at or near the bottom of the standings ? and lets not forget you want us to pay an arm and a leg in doing so so tell me why that doesn't make sense? tell me why keeping him a devil vs getting basically him in a trade is silly ? He is garbage and has a terrible contract so why trade him just for the sake of forking over assets to do so? Why is that such a silly thought? I mean fine by me, no skin off my back. You want to rebuild while keeping the albatross of a contract, I guess we have different ideas of rebuilding and getting younger.

Leafs are rebuilding..... Best way to do that is trade young nhlers on decent/good contracts and top prospects and picks for overpaid 4th liners signed till they're 36.

I don't really want anything to do with those trade offers no matter who made them. I honestly don't think either those guys can come here and up their numbers so if that is the case they can't help us make the play offs but they will improve the team so we are stuck picking 10-15 for the next 10 years ? I would honestly rather have a worse year this year then last and get a better pick then 6 and build. The difference between devils and the leafs and bruins is the devils have nothing at all to ship off to add another first. Our best players left years after year for nothing where as in toronto and boston they have decent players they can ship off to help rebuild. Hell both toronto and boston already have two first rounders for next years draft and still have more pieces that could be unloaded for additional ones. We have young d men and our first round picks the next few years as valuable assets and we can't really do much but go lateral by moving them. To me we will still be bad with Zajac we don't need to move him to get worse and our cap situation doesn't require us to move him, especially if its only really going to cost us to move him in the first place. Just wait it out maybe move one d man for a forward and in a year or two move a first and hope by then we are on our way. I apologize for the lack of structure i am poop at writing...

Only if we can also agree that the AHL rookie scoring champ + our only big bodied centre in the system + one of Lupul/Bozak = Zajac (Leafs may have to add picks)

I don't believe this "rumor" has any legs anyway. Why would anyone in their right mind deal Bozak at 4.2 x 3 for Zajac at 5.75 for 6 years? Simply put, and as politely put as possible, the distance between the players one way or the other isn't particularly significant... so - why pay more and be stuck with it longer - UNLESS NJD is offering some for of offset to the transaction.

I agree. I didn't start these rumours. I didn't come up with the names. The leafs not make sense for zajac, even if the Devils paid us a poop ton to take him. I never siad that the Devils should do it, or that it was good/made sense for the Devils only that that is the only way it makes sense for the leafs (and even then it still doesn't make sense)
