Nice look, although I do think Dancin' Dan keeps Eichel sheltered in a 2c role for awhile As the season goes on, I could see Eichel move up, depending of course on his transition the the NHL. So far so good, but highs and lows will be encountered.

There is a quandary between Reinhart and Girgensons ... Who plays wing on the 2nd line. Seems both will be productive in different ways there. Again sheltering Sam at wing may be the way too go...but Eichel and Reinhart on the 2nd line could be an issue given rookie status.
Will be interesting to watch over the course of the season!

He picked up the goalie he wanted. So, I'm about 90% sure that we're not picking up another goalie any time soon.

That said, I know Lieuwen has only gotten 2 total periods of play this preseason, but he's looked good. I think he's definitely over the concussion from 2 years ago. And thank god for that. I think he could be a huge surprise. He was really starting to come into his own in Rochester before he was recalled and then injured here. I think a lot of people could be surprised by him.

I don't hate the idea of McCabe. While I think he could benefit from another year in the A, I think he's got the skills he needs to make the jump now. It would also be great to put him with Pysyk and let them grow at the NHL level together. That could be a very good pairing for a very long time.

Id rather him in the A as well but can't think of anyone better. colaiacavo and Donovan are the kind of D-men you play when you're looking for the top pick.

I wouldnt be slotting him onto the 4th line bc he looks rusty or like a bum. He probably will have a meh season coming off injury, but still a usefull player. Wont be useful if he is only playing 8mins a night though

There is absolutely no reason to be starting the clock on Guhle right now. I don't care how good he looks - lets push off paying him for as long as we can. Also, it can only help his long-term development to leave him alone for a while.
