How long can they stay undefeated? You think it can last all year?

It's going to be hilarious when they have to send Nylander down because they have too many contracts. He looks ready to push into this meager top-6.

Also it looks like the new staff likes Peter Holland.

Problem will even get bigger when Marner finds his rhythm and earns himself a spot as well

Pretty good. Basically looked like a young inexperienced 18 year old with tremendous talent. Started a bit tentatively but seemed to gain confidence as the game wore on.

Ferraro said he ran into him before the game and he looks a lot bigger already.

Since he is only about 5'6" himself, everyone looks big

Harrington looked pretty good imo. Not top-4, but looks like he can jump into that 5-6 spot. Still think it's Marincin's to lose.

I enjoy baseball. Enjoyed Nylander's game last night, too. Marner could be poised to wreck the OHL again this season.

I don't think he disappointed, but anyone who said he would make the NHL this year can forget about it. He is not even remotely close to being an NHL player. He doesn't look like an AHL player. Good thing he is going back to junior.

I thought Gauthier looked OK. He might be a decent 4th line center one day maybe? He seems strong on the puck, but just not enough quickness to play on checking line.

Gardiner looked less tentative on offense.

Nylander was the best player on the ice, which is not saying much considering the lineups that were out there last night. I think there is a chance he sticks if they trade Kadri or Bozak.

It would not surprise me Soshnikov started the year here.

I kind of wish Canada would boot Quebec out of the country and make them take the newfs with them.

yeah Marincin will play. There will be defenseman injuries. Percy and or Harrington will see time with the Leafs this year.

Nylander looks like he's ready. At least, he did last night.

That said, you could argue that McCarron looks ready too... which kinda reminds me that, it's only preseason.
