Totally agree, He and Barzal were both in last years stacked draft so they were picked later than they would have been in a normal draft year. Both look really good.

That pp was dreadful

I have to agree as it looks now. It's preseason but if anyone remembers I pointed it out last preseason and got ripped for it and guess what? That's how it looked during the regular season as well. Too much passing with a large dose of reluctance to shoot. Whether that's a coaching thing or not I don't know but I have a hard time believing Capuano or Weight are telling these guys not to shoot when they have an open net to hit inside the dots and they pass instead.

He had the puck in the corner with a clear lane to the boards in his own zone with less than a minute left and for some reason he thought that would be a good time to play the body on the Devil player while he had possession of the puck? wtf?

Yup. Making some nice plays out there. Wish I could say the same of Mayfield. Guy has terrible hockey sense/decision making. Pelech over him for sure. Strait absolutely horrible but cappy has him on the PK late in the 3rd. Unreal.

Anytime Garth wants to trade KO I am all good with that. Guy is outta shape & huffing halfway thru each shift. Not worth anything over $4mil if JT isnt doing the work for him.
