First of all, Drewiske is really the only player competing with Alt and Sanheim. I think for the most part, they want to see some of the kids in pre season to give them a little taste. I just hope they pair down the roster quickly, and get close to the roster that is going to make the team, and get them up and going. Need to get off to a quick start.

Fair enough, although I thought that Pyett was a defenseman as well.. But with the rest of them, it seems like they're just finding the warm bodies to play 2 games at once. Now that it's over, I'd make about 15 cuts to send them back to their respective teams.

And for the record, I've just never liked Drewiske without reason. Seems like a bottom-6 AHL defenseman. I don't see a need for him on this roster.

What exactly is "Legacy" as opposed to "NHL16?" From what I gather, it's basically NHL 15 but with new rosters and, over time, new roster updates. Is that about it?

11 was the last semi decent one. All the glowing reviews of 2016 are astounding to me. Graphics appear to be the only upgrade. I can barely complete a frigging pass. Gameplay is total crap.

That's what I gathered from it. If you want all of the new features and what not of NHL16 you have to get it for PS4/Xbox1

I'm trying to keep my excitement in check. With all the hype and speculation surrounding every release now, by the time the game is out you can easily spoil everything before it comes out.

Laughton and konecky would not have a slot. Not saying after 1 game konecky is the next patty party boy Kane but he's damn good and has more potential than career journey men 4th liners

I personally don't want Konecky making this team as an 18 yo if it means 3rd or 4th line duty. much rather see him get a lot of playing time in juniors and compete for a spot on team canada for the WJC

as far as Laughton, if he outplays VV then VV gets waived and sent down. I have no problem with that re-signing because it adds depth. I like White and am glad they re-signed him. Now that said if Laughton outplays VV and is still sent down I would be disappointed
