Flyers offered him the deal when by all accounts he was already slowing down in Tampa. Although I never expected him to actually suck this bad.

I don't think it has anything to do with greed. He's made like a 100M in his career. It's simply about wanting to continue to play. I'll never question Lecavalier's integrity. I don't think he would fake an injury.

So far Lecavalier has more goals than Giroux, Voracek, Couturier, and Simmonds combined.

The Rinaldo deal was magic.
The Pronger deal was a deal of opportunity for both sides, not magic imho.

Really promising if Umberger can still play...a bounce back year from him would be nice, because of his size. Cautiously optimistic

I wouldn't go so far as to call it greed, either. Players are almost always the last ones to know when they are done like dinner. Wheels is simply living in denial, really

After watching the 3 on 3 OT between Washington and Carolina last night I think we don't have to worry about the Flyers inept shootout issues anymore. I don't think a game will make a shootout based on the 3 on 3 I watched.
