The second goal on Reimer last night was a beauty. Honestly, it was so bad that I am not sure I have even seen road hockey goals worse than that. Even Bernier would have been proud of that one.

I watched the game in Ottawa (at home). Lupus, Kadri, Timashov, Dion and Kapanen had decent games.

Yesterday he started stumbling around, and could barely walk, hasn't eaten anything for the past 2 days, only drinks water. The vet thought it could be something toxic, or neurological. Wanted to charge me $2400 dollars to admit him for overnight observations and x-rays and IV etc. Hard decision, but we took him home, and kept an eye on him throughout the night. My wife is taking him to our local vet this morning.

Let the Leafs fans start planning their June parade down Yonge Street and marveling about how great Mike Babcock is that he can coach a team to victory from 388 km away.

Yes, losing both ends of a home and home split squad game on one night to a team that is expected to contend for Austin Matthews is a less than desirable outcome, but you have to look at the positives.

sorry to hear...never fun to deal with, especially with young kids. My 8 year old daughter still has moments of grief for our late Husky that passed 2 years ago. All I can do now is wait to hear from my wife.
