All I'm saying is I wouldn't be against it if he puts up similar numbers to last season.
and,
with the stated direction of the team, I can see JB making this sort of move.
But I think it really puts the squeeze on Burrows and any and everyone making more than 2 mil per in the bottom 6. Money would have to be moved out and some bargains needed in the lineup on elc's.
Then again, bringing back Vrbata could get in the way of signing Lucic.

Why? We get rid of your whipping boy Sbizza and his contract and there literally is no upside to keeping Edler long term. The only real loss is Hansen and our target would always be Brayden Schenn not Luke. Luke could be flipped. We recoup a pick. You can't offer Cassels in that deal. |

I liked Bennett better but Reinhart's hockey sense is apparently amazing for a player of his age. And he has the skill to go along with it.
