Good deal. It's a bit of a risk considering that he hasn't even played a full season yet, but if he ends up even mediocre he won't be overpaid, at least not on the Sbisa scale, and there's a good chance that he is very underpaid for the majority of the contract.

Nickname her Google or yahoo or bing, bing being the one that Microsoft forces down your throat. ... kinda like a wife. ..lol
I don't think anyone in their right mind wants to think of you as a lady. .......
But in the interest of humor, what do you call a pretty Thai girl? A lady
What do you call a drop dead gorgeous Thai girl? A lady boy

PP practice features Sedins with Vrbata, Sutter with Baertschi and Burrows and Vey between Horvat and Higgins. #Canucks

PP practice has Edler with Weber and Hamhuis with Tanev on points.
If Vrbata wants to stay at a similar cap hit, I wouldn't be upset if he signed a 2 year extension. A good find for JB and they want to continue to make the playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen.

On Vrbata, let's not get ahead of ourselves, let's see how the season plays out first.

All I'm saying is I wouldn't be against it if he puts up similar numbers to last season.
and,
with the stated direction of the team, I can see JB making this sort of move.
But I think it really puts the squeeze on Burrows and any and everyone making more than 2 mil per in the bottom 6. Money would have to be moved out and some bargains needed in the lineup on elc's.
Then again, bringing back Vrbata could get in the way of signing Lucic.

Sam Reinhart is apparently getting lost in the new found depth in Buffalo. Time to trade for him? - Retinalz
Call me crazy, but I've never been bat-poop crazy about this kid. His skating is the reason....if he could skate even at a basic NHL level, he'd be a star.

From Michael Pachla's most recent blog,
While talking to various prospects over the summer about the camp and scrimmage, Reinhart's name was invariably mentioned as a standout for the camp. "You never know what he's going to do," said d-prospect Anthony Florentino, who played against Reinhart on team Gold. "I don't think of him as a flashy type of player, but once he puts those passes on the tape you wonder 'How did he do that?'
"Some of the plays he made I haven't seen before."

I liked Bennett better but Reinhart's hockey sense is apparently amazing for a player of his age. And he has the skill to go along with it.

I would have selected Bennett 10 times out of 10 before Reinhart. I'm not saying Reinhart's a bad player, because his hockey IQ is exceptional, just concerned about his skating.
