Now that the dead weight is gone bozak gonna break out.

I wonder what Babcock is thinking watching bozak

Him trying to sort out why not only 1, but 2 decorated successful coaches had him at 1C

It must be agonizing lol

Reimer doesn't worry about saving anything because he believes that Jesus saves.

Put him in the crease and let's find out lol

I'm stepping out of this silly bernier reimer nonsense and starting up a "bring back Kenny Wregget" campaign.

I think that this Leafs team will actually make a run at the playoffs. It's the same club, sans Kessel, that was in a playoff spot at Christmas time. JVR, Kadri, Rielly, Bernier and Gardner are one year older, and more experienced. The UFA's that were signed, in he off season, will make this a competitive club. With Babcock coaching this club, they may be better then most people will give them credit for. It would not surprise me, to see them putting pressure on a team like the Habs, or the Penguins, for that final playoff spot. Do I think that it's a good thing? Not at all. They haven't yet addressed their hole at first line centre and need to upgrade the defense. I see them finishing 10th in the conference.

I don't necessarily think they are an autolock for the absolute basement. With how close the league is, they could be hanging around in the meh middle for a bit, still miss the playoffs but not be rock bottom. It's pretty hard to duplicate their total death spiral from last year.

I could see them floating around 10th til the deadline.. When I expect anyone having a half decent season will be dumped to contenders for picks/prospects. Then I think they'll pretty much nose dive

I'm waiting for wedgie to come in and talk about how it was a justifiable trade. He isn't wrong either, the leafs at the time lacked toughness and had a surplus of secondary scoring. While there is logic behind the deal, I wasn't a fan of the price the leafs paid.

Yes I do lol...was actually my first pick, took him higher than he was projected...I really do think he's going to have quite the season though. The power play alone is going to score pretty much anytime they have one

Offensively that team is scary, defensively they might have a tougher time against other high powered offenses.

Crossel won't be as effective tied up in their own end
