Kids fall in the draft when they get labelled. Funny Evander Kane has identical issues. Even Byfuglien to a point. as being labelled selfish. If they had anything in common , maybe we could find a common ground.
You have to admit it is a possible that some peoples judgment may be deemed a little predjudice. Joel Ward being called banana eater in Canada , Subban told to go home N by Boston fans .
So HoSang calls out a few people and automatically he is labelled the trouble maker - VANTEL
Then why is HoSang not acting more like a Joel ward or PK ? Would be a much better choice then what he has been doing thus far |

Yeah McCann is going to be good no doubt but the complete versatility of Bergeron?
Bold statement dude...

You have absolutely zero knowledge of the circumstances of his tardiness. Maybe its as you say, but you can get down off your soap box any time. - 1970vintage
If he was saving a baby seal pup from drowning while being skull-f*cked by a horny sea otter, I could see a mitigating circumstance. |

Okposo HoSang foe Tanev McCann - VANTEL
Oh man, you just made me throw up a little.

Not unless it was significantly under market value which obviously wouldn't happen. Canucks can't afford to trade their top young defenseman who has a solid contract and their top offensive center prospect. Essentially it just comes down to being completely disinterested in Ho Sang as a prospect. I don't believe he has a high enough skill level to make up for his mental shortcomings - CanuckDon
I was more thinking just tanev for KO...I personally think KO has more value than tanev ...tanev is a good D man but he is essentially an undersized shutdown type with little offensive upside ...KO has been a near point per game player with some size |

Extremely unlikely he's Patrice Bergeron 2.0... Patrice is the top centre behind Malkin, Crosby, & Datsyuk...

Yeah I would cut him some slack, if that was the case. |

Conclusion
The Canucks made a lot of transactions this season and, to be honest, I think they ended up on the wrong end of most of them. That said, despite giving up incremental value in each move, I don't disagree with the team's assertion that they could be improved this season.
Make no mistake about it, the Canucks are in tough in a stacked Western conference. The Flames won't get the puck luck they did last year, but they'll be a better team with the additions of Michael Frolik, Dougie Hamilton and a healthy Mark Giordano. Edmonton will be better with Connor McDavid, Griffin Reinhart, Andrej Sekara, and Cam Talbot. Dallas added Johnny Oduya and Patrick Sharp. While LA lost Justin Williams, they added Milan Lucic. Top to bottom, there are less easy points available in the Western Conference than there were last year.
That said, provided they get average goaltending out of Markstrom and Miller, this is still a team built around an elite possession driving first line/pair with the Sedins and Edler/Tanev. Their defense will be better provided Corrado and Bartkowski eat up the minutes Sbisa and Bieksa were allocated last year, and with possession driving veterans like Burrows, Hansen, and Higgins in the middle six, its far more likely this team will find themselves in a dog fight for a wild card spot, than tanking for Matthews.
They are not a Stanley Cup contender by any stretch, but they're not going to be in the race for Auston Matthews either. This should all culminate in an interesting run-up to the trade deadline with Radim Vrbata and Dan Hamhuis on contracts that expire this summer, and a Canucks prospect pool that has improved, but still desperately lacks top end talent that could be acquired in a very deep 2016 draft.

It comes down to orginizational depth. We might not have a point/game player in the prospect pool, but there are some promising options. Our D depth, however, is paper thin. We can't trade our best young D unless it's for another D, IMO. Value is relative. |

The kid has to stop blaming everyone else for his problems. When your junior team trades you and then says what the GM said and you still blame everyone else, the kid has a problem, talented but with a problem. |

That makes sense ....maybe you trade tanev for okposso ...then trade burrows at the deadline for a 2nd ...and then package your 2nd and 1st this year for a guy like doggie Hamilton ...I haven't looked at who is pending rfa but there's always a few possibilities |

Really, man?!? We're going to turn this into a racial thing? Sounds to me like the kid needs to grow up regardless of his skin colour. |

I don't believe it's a race issue and if he's able to convince himself it is then he'll never sort it out. He'll think everyone else is the problem, not him.
Most of the time racism is a club used to beat minorities over the head with, but sometimes it's a shield to hide behind and avoid taking responsibility for individual character flaws that have nothing to do with race. |

He did call them out for being racist . It is easy to take sides.
Evander Kane gets labelled as a trouble maker for his Vegas picture of the handful of Money.
You and I don't know what has been said but you are automatically taking side of the coach or gm . |

Meh, kids what, 18? This is an opportunity for him to learn a very valuable lesson. Maybe he will, and will go on to have a great NHL career, maybe he won't. I think the team did the right thing. What I'm suggesting is that as a fan, I would rather have JoHo in my prospect pool then not.
And, for all the Mcannians, he fell in the draft and appeared to have some attitude problems... |

Again you don't know that 100%. The kid came out and called the race card and as soon as that happens they get labelled |
