Once it is in lockdown they can't quote on threre but it can't stop them from copy and paste to another thread.

I'm sure it will be fine. We are all mature adults here.

People think this guy sucks, but he's not so bad (and the reason is): Komarov, he does his job plain and simple.

- LeafMan

What the hell is wrong with you? Is Komarov your boyfriend or something? Does he mouth the words "I love you, Leafman" in 5 different languages to you?

Sheesh. Go have yourself checked for brain damage - I hear that's all the rage with Leafs mods these days.

It's going to be a loooooooooooong season.

Didn't they have another high pick quit hockey too.
- LeafMan

Wasn't there another kid - 1st rounder - maybe Nashville or St. Louis, who walked away from hockey for a year or two?

That's the one. Its always a gamble with a pick but quit hockey is a new one right after getting drafted.
- LeafMan

You're thinking of expected first rounder Ryan Pilon who plummeted in the draft. Must have caught on hockey wasn't his passion.

Ho-Sang was invited to Hockey Canada's world junior summer camp last month after a season that saw him traded to Niagara from the Windsor Spitfires.

"It was mandatory that we had to trade him," said Spitfires president and head coach Bob Boughner at the time. "For many, many, numerous internal reasons, the people that truly know what went on behind the scenes would understand why we had to trade him.

"We might not be a better team in the standings because of it, but we're definitely a better team within our four walls and it's only going to help for the future."

In 190 OHL games, Ho-Sang has tallied 63 goals and 210 points.

I am serious: I sincerely hope the "regular guests" in the Leafs forum participate.

A few reasons:

- they bring a different perspective. No blue-coloured glasses. They may also bring an unfair negativity, though: it will be interesting to see how accurate they are (in any other year, I think they would me more accurate than a Leafs fan - but this year, I think maybe the Leafs fans will be making more negative predictions).

- I think everyone needs to put their money where their mouths are. If I say Gardiner wins the Norris Trophy this year, I'm happy to get laughed at by others who have also put their "geeenyuss hockey reputation" on the line, but it's not really fair to just snipe from the sidelines without any skin in the game. Wow, a lot of mixed metaphors in there.

- The more the merrier. It will be more fun.

- Atomic Wedgie

Jason Pierre-Paul would give this a thumbs up.

The Devils signed Tlusty for 800,000? Quite the bargain, why would the Leafs not try to sign the guy to that type of contract?
- ThePresident

Because then you'd be complaining about the Leafs wasting a contract spot on a bust they drafted years ago and traded for another bust who was traded with a bunch of other busts for a bust who was traded for maybe not a bust.

I've killed my memory with booze.

I have no regrets.

At least none that I can remember...
