Here are my predictions (forwards) for the 2010-11 Leafs:
Colby Armstrong I love his number (#9). Sadly, he is yet another in a long line of Leafs 3rd line forwards, who won't actually make a difference. Fans will love him, though.
Tyler Bozak Be prepared for the sophmore jinx.
Tim Brent Not good enough to play in the NHL. Expect him on the Marlies soon.
Mike Brown Who cares? Not me.
Luca Caputi Marlies.
Mikhail Grabovski Will the the Leafs' 1st line centre by about the 20 game mark this year. That's not a good thing. Has the skills, has no brain.
Christian Hanson Not good enough to play in the NHL. Last year proved that.
Nazem Kadri I hope he stays on the Marlies all this year.
Phil Kessel I'm actually optimistic about him this year. I think he will score just under 40 goals - which is a pretty big accomplishment considering he is playing with dog poop.
Nikolai Kulemin Will blossom this year into a good 2nd line winger. Should really benefit by having Versteeg take his place on 1st line.
Clarke MacArthur I like him at $1 million a year. But let's be honest - that's all he is worth.
John Mitchell Not good enough to play in the NHL.
Colton Orr I like this guy. His role is to be the goon, but he can actually play hockey. He's one of the few guys on the Leafs who could actually play on a Stanley Cup team. Of course, I am kidding.
Jay Rosehill Garbage.
Fredrik Sjostrom He's good at the PK. On good teams, the guys who are good on the PK are also good at even strength.
Kris Versteeg I'm looking forward to being pleasantly surprised by this guy. Should do well with added icetime.

This turned out so eerily accurate, you're obligated to do the same for this season now *waits patiently*

Uh huh.. now post the defense predictions. - twiztedmike
Francois Beauchemin "A" Terrible last year. I hope he has a good first half, so we can trade him.
Jeff Finger See you on the Marlies, Jeffie. And don't believe anyone who says it's only his salary that makes him a target for ire - he was lower on the depth chart last year than Exelby, who doesn't have a job in the NHL this year. You figure it out.
Carl Gunnarsson Let's hope he doesn't have a sophmore jinx this year. Good, albeit unspectacular player. Too bad he will only get 5-6 minutes.
Tomas Kaberle "A" I'd love to know what Wilson was thinking by stripping him of the A. It's like they want to completely reduce this guy to rubble. Look for him to have a big year - points-wise - and leave the Leafs at the end of the year for nothing.
Mike Komisarek "A" Will be better than last year, but still not terrific. He's better than average, but no superstar.
Matt Lashoff Don't care.
Brett Lebda Don't care.
Dion Phaneuf "C" The wild card. Will be beaten to the outside once a game. I'm hoping he grows into new role - I like his arrogance. But needs to play better. And I like him as captain - a role Sundin was never, ever suited for.
Danny Richmond Who?
Luke Schenn Will be better than last year. Was actually pretty good for the second half of last season. But I wouldn't be opposed to trading him for a good young centre.

Soooooooo, not quite so good with the defensive predictions.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Jean-Sebastien Giguere Above average. Not a superstar. It's his job to hold the fort until the Monster is ready to assume starting goalie. Won't be a Leaf next year.
Jonas Gustavsson Won't be as scrambly this year. I'm optimistic.
James Reimer I'm guessing they will trade him.
Jussi Rynnas Marlies. Nothing more.

Dear Sweet Jesus, I can't believe I was pumping the Monster's tires.

Nice predictions!
The Monster was a good goalie and very likeable. His heart problems set him back for sure.

I think I still have some predictions saved from 10-15 years ago. I'll have to root around on the computer in the basement at home, but if I find them, I'll post them.
I"m sure everyone is dying to find out what I thought of Travis Green and Aki Berg.

swing and a miss on the goalies wedgie... swing and a miss
The Monster might have been the worst goalie I've ever seen in a Leafs uniform. There is some very stiff competition, but he's a finalist for sure. - 1979AD
