Just looked at the preseason schedule. I figured that of the two split squad games the one in Toronto would be the one on TV.

Was Finn drafted by the new regime? This happens all the time ...cull the pro ranks for players that fit ...and cull the prospects and move guys out that don't fit. We have to assume that Hunter/Dubas et al. didn't think highly of him. Time will tell whether they were right.

As I said before, 'proper development of young players' does no mean leafs are not attempting to make playoffs this year; babcock and Lou always want to try and win.
