At this point, he has not even been charged with anything, so you analogy doesn't quite work.

If charges are laid, the Blackhawks have some serious thinking to do.

Until that time, I don't think (I'm not a lawyer) they can prevent him from showing up for work, without opening themselves up to a lawsuit.

I heard a good point - may have been on Leafslunch today or yesterday - the problem with this is that you'll have more than sports reporters showing up to camp to cover this story.

Sport reporters will try to remain chummy with the team - be careful what they say, what they ask.

A crime reporter won't give two poops. They'll paint Kane in a bad light if that's their prerogative.
