His numbers are pretty much the same the last two years. It seems like he improves either when he gets more consecutive starts or when the team isn't a complete tire fire. (Refering to the shortened season)

I have to disagree here and think you have this backwards. Bernier is the shot blocker and Reimer is the more athletic swimmer.

results are all that matter, and with Beneir as number 1, the team results have regressed. They are different sized and styled goalies, but neither has shown anything to say they are better than the other.

I know, it's not just playing pentatonic scales really fast, they use variations and fills up and down the neck. As I said it is not just speed, it's what they do with it.

are you seriously judging a goalie who routinely faced 50 shots a game?!

there is a reason leafs brass chose him over reimer.. he is a far better goaltender
