Eichel looks good...

I feel bad for Girgensons. He was just starting to show what he could do. Then he got hurt, and then the Sabres added 3 good centers. Hopefully he can adjust to life on the wing.

I'm still of the opinion ROR moves to wing half way through the year and it looks like this down the center for the next 10 years and 3 cups

If Girgensons ends up as the 3rd center, it means that this team is very, very good. I don't feel bad for him at all.

Bailey was quiet this weekend. Bapts looked much better than july. Should be fun to watch in Rochester this year.

I saw a guy on twitter (he may have been a Boston blogger/writer) that wonder if the Bruins shoulda/coulda traded Hamilton to Arizona for #2 and then packaged that pick with Lucic to us for #2. Needless to say, the comments weren't in his favor.

Bailey had a goal in the 1st game. Forced a nice turnover and put it in the back of the net unassisted.

I didn't see yesterday's game or practices, so I can't really say. He's going to have his ups and downs though. He was considered a bit of a project when he was drafted. So far, he's developed nicely, but he still has some work to do.

Interesting that Scott Gomez in on a PTO with St. Louis. He had 34 points in 58 games last year with NJ. You'd have thought he'd have gotten a 1 year tender somewhere.

I have a feeling someone is going to end up eating prison food for this one.

That may have been top-line minutes as that team really stunk. On a good team he is a checking center. Either way... not too surprising as he has to be getting up there.

In SJ and FLA he was mainly playing 4th line mins.

Last year he was getting 16:30 a game and was that teams 3rd leading scorer.
