well the odds are in my favour on those picks and Kapenen for that matter, be lucky if he played 2nd line - the_eye
i hope kessel gets lined up with malkin on the second line
the guy is a uncoachable lazy back checker
look what happened when he was forced to be defensively accountable? he quit giving a rats ass
having him around would poison the young guys who will actually be around when the leafs are competing again
strychnine has its uses.. but its still poison |

Is that Gary Leeman? - Atomic Wedgie
can't be Leeman... the nose bone is too pronounced.
after his off ice activities of the late 80s.. his nose would have been a lot smaller.

Steckel was a rocket ship compared to Allison. - BorjeFan4Ever
The funny thing is, Leafs fans loved Steckel. Great faceoff guy, hard worker, blah blah blah, so much more likeable than Kessel and Phaneuf. Steckel was the kind of guy who teams won cups with. You need role players like him.
Until we shipped him out for nothing, and got Jay McClemment (for nothing) who was better than Steckel.
And then we got rid of McClemment, because he was just a dime a dozen scrub... |

you really think kessel is that valuable?
you are aware the leafs over paid TREMENDOUSLY for him right?
he wasnt worth what Burke gave up.. not even close.
the error is Burke's... Shanny and company got fair market value |

We are switching to Harold Ballard to hate on. Allison wasn't here long enough.
Go... - bixll

That's why I like Winnik so much I guess! He can actually skate, he works as hard as Steckel or McClement ever did, and he was traded for a 2nd round pick... and then resigned.
Now that is a dream player on a rebuilding team. |

Perhaps we could put a little cartoon bubble coming out of Sundin's mouth saying, "Maybe I could have won a Cup if I wasn't skating next to Dmitri Khristich."
In other related news, Leafs fans still think Komarov is awesome... - Atomic Wedgie
I think Hall Gill deserves to be on Legend's Row due to him winning a cup. |

c'mon... we can do better than this.
let's switch to "Leafs I loved for 5 minutes"...
to qualify a player must have had at least one game or noteworthy play and played with the Leafs for less than a full season - or along those lines.
a couple come to mind
1) Kurt Walker - called up from the Marlies specifically for the playoff series with the Flyers
2) McCreary ( I believe that is his name) who absolutely destroyed Gretzky - and then mysteriously disappeared
3) Tim Brent - the penalty kill
ph_ck Ballard. |

The funny thing about Ballard is he would have been a fun guy, if he didn't ruin the Leafs so incredibly badly.
Painting the Tiger-Cats logo on Gardens ice to piss off the Argos? That would have been funny.
Jacking up the heat at concerts to sell more drinks? That would have been funny.
Constantly pissing off the Toronto media with his lunatic antics? That would have been funny.
But he was a complete arsehole who ruined a proud franchise.
Here's something to ponder: when he took over the Leafs in 1968, they had the same amount of Stanley Cup wins as the Habs.
Think about that one for a moment. |

Ken Linseman - just because I loved Kenny the Rat, even if he never even took his jacket off during his quick stint with the Leafs. |

nah... they need another Row... maybe quicksand Row or Less than Legend's Row...
a) Jason Allison - charter member of QuickSand Row
b) Hal Gill - permanent member of QuickSand Row
...
could also have "cement hands row"... which could be a catch all for some unique hockey players...
