yeah after looking at the rules, I don't think he is even eligible to suit up for the Marlies until the 17-18 season. I thought maybe they could send him there after Jan 1st 2017, but don't think that is the case. So pretty sure the only way he makes pro, is by going directly to the Leafs this or next year.

Again, I'll take that bet.

I'm 50-50 about him being on Leafs this season (becoming less probably with the invites on PTO) but 95-5 on him being part of team next season (2016-2017) meaning 10+ games on Leafs.

I think we'll see him 9x this year, and a no question "down ya go"....next year it could be 9 games and "maybe we keep him around"...but he would need to show fair level of maturation for Babs I think.
