They were saying the same thing about Babcock...If I were in Stamkos position, why would I not want to sign with Toronto? He'd instantly become a legend....I know some enjoy the living under the radar and just going through life...but if I were given the opportunity, I'd jump on it in a heart beat.

Toronto should offer top dollar, and I really don't think Tampa Bay can afford him at this point (anything over 10.5 million)...especially with all the other RFA they need to resign over the next couple of years. Apparently they're trying to get him to play wing as well, I don't see him wanting to stick around.
