I used to think Kessel was just a lovable awkward curmudgeon that was a naturally insanely talented athlete...now it turns out he's just a lazy under-achiever that somehow finagled an $8M x 8 year max deal out of the Leafs, then screwed them over further by under-performing purposely and forcing the organization to deal him and retain $1.2M of the cap hit.

There should be a clause in the next CBA addressing this kind of contract fraud.
