To be honest I don't pay much attention to who is reffing and don't know or care to know most of their names.

The only reason I knew about him was the announcers always went on about how he was an ex NHL goon who became a ref.

Big (frank)ing deal....he wasn't good enough to play in the NHL so he became a ref...THE STUFF OF LEGEND!!!

although the way he tells it NESN was just out to get him.
