I have loads of grievances. Nothing to do with hockey or the club I support.

My newest one is when people immediately stop and look around at the top of escalators. What the (frank) are those people thinking? If they moved five feet away and then looked around to get their bearings there would be no issue.

Today I literally ran over an old asian lady trying to get off the escalator.

Why do you run when you get off an escalator?

Looks like Bro Jake has been off the air for a couple of weeks now maybe they got tired of him too.

They parked some of the schtick and you can now listen to real sports talk. By the time September roles around it will be unbearable again.

(It is nice when both morning show anchors aren't there to listen to... AM radio is messed up)

I don't get all the hate for things being done. I understand the bad taste for Sbisa signing . I won't touch the Miller contract .

Every move can not be a home run. Since JB has come in he has added some nice pieces that seem ready or close to ready.

I know Bo is a MG add, but Benning put him immediately into the mix. He also found JV Boeser McCann who are a year or two away. I am sure Sven will find his way into the NHL .

Sutter is a 20 goal player last year and Canucks need to find him good linemates to repeat. Sutter would have been one of the most sought after UFAs next year and Benning beat the rush and paid him a very fair raise from what was paid by the Pens as he enters his prime.

We are getting younger and this time around we are putting top 6 players in to fill the spots and not using bottom 6 players to fill the roles like the previous regime did.

Media needs crap to talk about and may as well pick on the Canucks as they enter the 'retool' or 'rebuild' whatever we want to call it.

Bottom line is that so far Benning has improved this team in two successive seasons and will give our youth a chance to get in the lineup. Starting with Bieksa and Kesler and now hopefully Edler Hamhuis and Burrows can see the writing on the wall soon.

Miller over Lack? Why not? Lack has shown that he will not be a starter here and Miller has shown that he can steal games for us...which Eddie didn't do much of at all and looked brutal in the PO's. MNGT wants a calming presence in the net and that is Miller...who gives a s**t that Lacks sv% was .08 better?

DMEN are at a commodity right now. I'm not a huge fan of the Sbisa contact either but we do have to retain SOME Dmen. Sbisa has shown signs of playing tough hockey and can skate the puck out of the zone himself if need be...he ain't gonna hurt us all that much.

Sutter fills a gaping hole we needed filled since Kesler. No he ain't as good as the dbag Kesler but that's just it...Sutter isn't a dbag and will be good in the room. Sutter's #s will improve 5/5 here with proper linemates Vrbata/Burrows/Sven as he was paired with crap wingers in PIT. He was doomed before he even started to fill Staals place in PIT as PIT was selling off depth. Sutter brings a 200' foot game and will play in the dirty areas where Bonino would rarely ever tread. Can win draws in the D zone has a great shot and can skate. He covers the ice where Bonino struggled mightily just to get up and down it. Like I said before Sutter/Horvat is a way better option up the middle than Bonino/Richardson....why can't most see that? No idea.

I just chatted with Sutter here Wednesday morning at my Arena as the CANPRO camps are running and he is here. He is so stoked about being out of PIT and being in VAN you have no idea. The fresh scenery is gonna bring good things IMO. And he is looking slick and fast out there...his shot may be as good as Bonino's...

Let the media and the pundits here bash the moves so far...I see improvement. And even if we are out of a PO spot by TDL at least the youth will be getting in which is kind of what everyone wanted no? I see youth coming in and NTC's going out over the next 2-3 seasons. Like Vantel said there are positive moves and negative and if MNGT wants this team in the playoffs while changing roster spots we are gonna need to deal with the ups/downs of said moves.

It all gets to be a bit too much. Too much self promotion. Laughing at your own jokes.

It is like a show that has 1 hour of material and stretches it to 4 hours with all the replaying of little childish segments and sound bites. They might have a couple little bits that are fun or entertaining but then it goes right back to the tedium.

Especially for the summer, I listen to less live stuff and just go to the web for interviews that might be interesting.

For that whole network, I hate how all the personalities read commercials and endorsements. Or even worse when they are plugging little businesses all the time to get their free swag like golf and lunches and stuff.

Where's VanHockeyGuy? He was always worried about the Canucks' presence in National media. Also, I think I just figured out who Nucker is in real life.

Aaron Ward would rip him. Literally calling him an idiot and the worst sports host in the business. He was a huge embarrassment

Good summary of the moves. I am not 100% sure if we are better overall; we have improved in some areas and got worse in others, but we have definitely got younger which is the most important part. It will take further development of our young players and prospects to decide if the team will be better in the future, not the 4th liners we bring in to hold fort until they are ready

We currently have 2 D whom I like. The rest not so much. I still don't get that JB didn't draft any D.

It seems to me that at this point last year everyone was penciling Hunter into the lineup and Horvat was still part of a brutal trade. Now Hunter seems like a forgotten man. I have a feeling he may crack the roster mid-season.

I like Hamhuis and Tanev. Coming up I like Subban even though he is small. Hutton I am on the bubble about because I haven't seen to much of him. Cederholm not to into him as he needs to make big strides if he is gonna make the AHL let alone the NHL.
