That is a little reassuring.
As has been mentioned on here, Vey may be more suited to the wing, regardless, I think he needs to play regularly to develop and am happy to see him at least be included in these proposed lineups. - hillbillydeluxe

That pic someone had of him shopping in a boutique with his man purse over his shoulder.... I think he was standing/leaning with his feet crossed. (might not have enough masculinity to be considered a metro-sexual. Should be wearing a plaid hunting jacket (we used to call them Herring Cove furs where I come from) and John Deere hat)
Maybe he needs a body guard like Prust on his line? |

Edler is still a Question mark for me. - thundachunk
Ditto, but together those two have been an excellent shutdown pairing overall. |

Corsipoop, not to be confused with Fecalwik Close or Plop/minus. |

Too bad it's not a 12 year old boy. Those seem to really develop over the next few years. |

The next freak outs will begin after training camp when the roster will be set and mostly vets will be in the lineup, causing those who have projected lineups where Prust, Vey or Higgins are the 13th forward to get pissed. |

I don't think we'll have to wait that long. We'll be lucky to make it through the weekend. |

I don't think Benning is going to bring in an UFA at 1.75 to have him play the bench , he could have just promoted a cheaper Biega. Frank C is the odd man out , I think |

It will be a little disappointing if Corrado doesn't get 40games.
Cost savings should be realized by having younger players like Corrado in the lineup.
Anything (injuries and trades) can happen between now and the start of the season.
I don't really disagree, Corrado may start in the press box. But depth means someone is always in the press box. |

I think the point was to bring competition for that 6th spot. Biega was pretty good considering. He was better than Clendening in the playoffs and I am sure that was a huge factor when moving him in the trade for Sutter. Benning took a chance and didn't get what he was looking for in Clendening. |

I liked the move to acquire Clendening and the decision to cut him loose. And I appreciate the idea of JB not getting stubborn about his moves. Makes a mistake and moves on.
Just don't understand the Sbisa signing. but what ev. |

It's a horrible system, he's literally just using goalie sv%'s from the past 3 years and assuming that team systems have zero influence and some guys will improve/decline based on age. - Nucker101
Thats right....team systems have huge influences on goalie stats. Do they clear rebounds? Is that "where to leave rebounds" system working fluidly? Are defenders protecting your weak areas?
Look at NJ....how many feel
MB benefitted greatly from the loaded D, trap drfense and team system?!
Then compare with luongo with the poop D system AV had in place....
RL could easily have done better with a D that had a clue how to defend.....which they didnt, outside of hamius that is. Losing mitchell was a huge mistake.
Point is Team D and system matters in outcomes for goalies and stats. Thinking itd be worthwhile to add a side stat of team D performance for comparison. |

With what we’ve seen so far, Canucks fans can only hope that management is done making trades this offseason.
I really wonder if Prust will be back after one season or if he is a tdl move. If he plays the whole season and walks, he will have been an expensive rental.
Part of me doesn't want him resigned if JB is going to over pay but if we promote prospects on elc into the lineup the following year, overpaying a little doesn't hurt if it is only for a season or two.
