Agreed. Kesler gives it 110% and was never a problem on the ice. NOT his fault he didn't get decent linemates, Malhotra's eye got damaged, the defence got injured or suspended, etc... Etc...

This concussion issue with McCann is troubling. If he had a history I would have hoped JB & Co would have checked that out.

It's probably a big reason why he dropped to 24th. Usually there are question marks of some kind at that stage of the draft. His skill set and hockey IQ are great, it's his size and injury history that are questioned.

JB had Mccan fly to vancouver so that the Canucks management could have their doctors have a look at him. They aren't taking his hit very lightly and rightfully so.

BTW - does anyone have the video of the canada-russia hand shake scrum from last night. I turned the TV off after the game was over and then i got a few texts asking if I saw it. I cant find much online other then a blurry cell phone video of the aftermath. I did hear however that the same player who hit McCan was the trouble-maker who started it.
