Your obsession with Sutter is so beyond creepy and weird. You're know into your 2nd week in here. Please seek the help you need and let us get back to fighting amongst ourselves. We have enough conflict within our extended family in here without you coming in and giving some of us the heebeejeebees. I'm sure our excellent blogger is losing hits by the day as your relentless stalking is driving many regular posters away. For the love of humanity, please go away.

Even if you DO believe Brandon Sutter can/will be a 20+ goalscorer for your club, there is absolutely no reason to sign him to this extension right now.

If he fits in well and produces, making hundreds of people eat their words, then give him his raise. Good on him. But to give him a big raise on a long term deal without him having played a single shift for your club is just a bad idea.

Nothing about his 7 years in the league suggests he is a long term fit on a good team. There is no reason to take a risk this size right now when you have an entire year to extend him if he fits.

Horvat was behind both Richardson and Bonino for most of last year.
- fiveandagame

Horvat was our 3C for the second half of the season and pretty much our 2C (based on minutes played) during the playoffs.

My idea of lousy weather is 110f for three months on end. The temp in my car when I get in it, is about 145f (62.7 C) A lot of rain, fog and slush would do me some good at this point, totally.
And snowboarding sounds good, but I just started a company. I'm thinking two to three grand USD is about what I can spend, so will probably drive to Whistler for the view, but board rentals, etc is out.

- jeffgouldonfire

Well, the weather in October is usually better than November and onward. It might be raining by then, but it may not have started yet, the way this year is going. Fog's a possibility but not the norm. There won't be slush in October. Really, rain and wind are the only things to worry about.

There's plenty to do outdoors at Whistler without snow on the mountains. Lots of hiking and for world-class views, consider the Peak-to-Peak Gondola at Whistler or the new Sea-to-Sky Gondola at Squamish, which is about halfway between Whistler and Vancouver.

The strong US dollar certainly makes this the right year for you to visit!

Piss off lady. You're just here to troll.
Great Sutter sucks and is over paid. We know that, but we don't need your pompous poop hockey town Carolina ass coming in here and running your mouth.

I'm just sick of your poop since we acquired Sutter. You just started showing up and talking poop since we got the (frank)er. Honestly if we knew you were included in the trade, we would have camped out at Rogers Arena protesting the deal.

I believe you've gotta throw out the 1G in his first season (50 games)

I believe he will be a consistent 20G scorer

And it was a bad idea then, too. I don't recall saying this acquisition or signing was due to the actions of anyone here, despite how personally some seem to take it.

Do I like that they signed him without playing a game - no

But

He played 17 mpg last year and scored 21G

Expect that average to inflate to over 19mpg

Nucks can still trade him a few years down the road at a modest hit of a lil over 4M

If the Habs can move bourque with time left then Sutter can be moved if it doesn't work out

Good evaluation of how he does is after year 3 out of 6

He will still be 29-30 after year 3

I bet he gets 1st unit PP mins with the Sedins and gets plunked right in front of the net. I don't think 25 goals is out of the question if the coaches use him properly. As long as we get 110-120 goals out of him the net 6 years, I can't complain.
- Gullzy

You're a Canuck fan, you will always complain.
