He honestly reminds me of Corey Perry the way he scores. Puck on a string, picking corners just outside the crease. Hopefully he gets a lttle bigger, I've liked this pick since day 1.

And yeah, one of the things they specifically mentioned when he was drafted is that he's strong on the boards and plays a pretty gritty 200 ft game

Perry seems more of a power forward/sniper to me. I remember that toe drag and laser beam to beat Rask high over the shoulder and tie a game against us this last season. Pr***!

Most of the kids highlight reel seemed to show dirty goals around the net.........even as he gets pushed around. But always going to the front of the net. Most are rebound and tip in goals........only a few drive to the net and throw it over the goalies shoulder type goals.

But, maybe the kid has or develops that aspect. Like what I saw in the vid though, regardless.
