I believe Petersen/Johansson have more natural ability than Kasdorf. But Kasdorf has the best positioning by far. I only saw the 3v3 and to be fair I wasn't counting goals, but I did notice Petersen get sniped bc his angle was off whereas Kasdorf seemed solid. I recall Kasdorf getting caught unawares on an Eichel shot that beat him from a bad angle.

See, I thought Smoltz should have been in over Chipper...and I hate the Braves btw (being a Pirates fan and all)
- stashu

I'm a Bucs fan too!
Remember when the Bisons were their farm team.
My grandpa was from Pitt, and we'd go down every summer for our family reunions & see a Pirates game or 2
Saw a playoff game vs the Braves
And McGwire hit a home run late in the record breaking season
I wanna say #59 maybe
It was very close to 61 if I remember right

Who are the 4 faces of all time?

Babe Ruth, Mantle, Cy Young, ????

- ImThatGuy

The league-wide 4 was the Greatest Living Players. So it was Hank Aaron, Johnny Bench, Sandy Koufax, Willie Mays.

I think it was fan votes that determined each team's 4, which might explain Bonds. I think a lot of people still pretend he didn't cheat.

As for my team (Braves): I'd pick Hank Aaron, Chipper Jones, and Greg Maddux as locks (in that order, even). I'm torn between Dale Murphy and John Smoltz for number 4. It's hard for me to pick because I was very young (or not alive) for almost all of Murphy's career, but I am familiar with how good he was on terrible teams. Smoltz has the recency bias, and he was a badass.

I know Warren Spahn made the MLB list for the Braves, but he never played in my lifetime (and he isn't Hank Aaron) so I can't really pick him, despite his reputation as one of the greatest pitchers ever. Spahn is a Buffalo native, though, so that's pretty cool.

- JetpackJesus

Spahn is the 2nd greatest Brave in their history.

Spahn and Sain and pray for rain.

Missed 3 years do to military service.

He was getting MVP votes as a 42 year old.

Is 6th in all time wins (#1 by a left hander)

I'm a big Braves fan...gotta have Maddux in there. The only NL pitcher to win 4 Cy Youngs in a row, and 3 of those were with the Braves.
- Homer

I've been a huge Braves fan my whole life.

That's where all my love of teams has come from basically, being a big Bisons fan. My dad had season tickets for us, including back to the rockpile days (we had box seats down on the 1B side, about 5 rows back - it was awesome).

My favorite teams follow Bisons:

Indians
Pirates
Arizona (Jay Bell was one of the first Diamondbacks I believe)
Florida (Orestes Destrada!! loved the guy for some reason)

Not really a White Sox fan though

Was Bench better than Rose? (not old enough to have seen Bench play I don't believe)

Or is it just to exclude him still...

Jack Eichel, who was selected No. 2 in the 2015 NHL Draft by the Buffalo Sabres, will not be attending the United States national junior evaluation camp in Lake Placid, N.Y., from Aug. 1-8.

Eichel was one of 11 players invited to camp who represented the United States at the 2015 WJC in Montreal and Toronto. Eichel, who served as captain for his country, had one goal and four points in five games. He signed an entry-level contract with the Sabres on July 1.

I'm sure Jack has a lot going on with Buffalo in terms of development camp and preparing for the NHL season," U.S. national junior team general manager Jim Johannson told NHL.com.

Johannson also confirmed that all other NHL-signed players invited to camp are expected to be present, including defenseman Noah Hanifin (Carolina Hurricanes) and center Dylan Larkin (Detroit Red Wings).

It is something I would like to do. I played with some very good goalies and had very good coaches and these were the types of things they would pick on

I think Jeter was great, yet super overrated.....confusing yes....was he a great player, sure, but IMO he shouldn't be in the same sentence as Mantle.

If you're strictly talking faces, and not necessarily best ever, I'd think Robinson has to be there
