I know O'Reilly was a trade, but the fact that he signed an extension with us I think says a lot considering how bad we've been and his track record in contract negotiations.

I don't recall ever seeing anything credible tying us to Wiercioch. He's a nice defenseman, but I don't really think he's anything this team actually needs.

Eff that a-hole, he don't want 3/$15M then let him go elsewhere, he is old-ish and already has some cups so he is just looking for a cash grab. His best and most motivated hockey is behind him.

Seeing that the Stars are in on Oduya as well as the Jackets. If the Stars get him then they essentially traded Daley and Garbutt for Sharp, Oduya, and a prospect that is considered to be very good. That would be a huge win for them. Still hoping he picks the Sabres.
