DWI, property damage, fleeing the scene. And you don't think people do any time for DWI?? Do the cops just write them a ticket and tell them to continue driving home?

I'm not talking months in "the pen", but being booked at the precinct and such

- stashu

Im assuming he was booked, as he was released on promise to appear.

He should be nailed in the courts, he probably wont be and then i would agree something is wrong.

Its too easy to get multiple influenced driving infractions. I know a dumbass with two of them and will most likely come back to do it all over again when he gets his license back in a few weeks. Make the punishments harsher in court and stick them to EVERYONE.

He isnt normal, but he should be punished as normal in court. Employers discretion after that and no one should be mad about it.

Dennis Bernstein of the 4th period seems to think he follows Sharp to Dallas but says Buffalo is a legit contender

My ex brother in-law has at least 6 DUI/DWI's (not sure which ones he has exactly) and still holds a really good job in WNY.... I won't say where, mostly because I forgot where.

NY loves impaired driving.

You can't pay him 5.5 per. If Risto has a fantastic year he'll ask for more.

Posted earlier that I have family (extended - uncles, not too immediate) who have multiples. It's despicable that they're back out on the roads so easily

Employers discretion in this case is what I based my last big post off of. He's a public figure, bound by a bargained agreement to conduct himself in certain manners and to not reflect badly on the league, team, etc. Perfect case for suspension IMO, and would be a great precedent to set

The Stars have a major hole on D. Most likely Johnny O goes there.

Murray is probably hoping they get him so it takes some of the heat off the O'Riley news

Sabres will always be the underdog in signing players, sometimes Pegula's wallet won't cut it.

I'd argue we have a bigger hole but Murray seems like he'd be willing to wait on waivers/last minute hail marry trades in September

Which is ridiculous in this scenario.. Dallas is not a hockey city and they cant offer him that much money. They are closer to a cup then us but play in a lot more difficult conference. Maybe Bogoian can talk Oduya into it

I agree and let's not foget, Oduya is nothing special that we need to get into a bidding war with other teams.
