Pysyk better not be the 7th. He's much better than Carlo, Weber, and Gorges.

- HonkFortheGoose

Carlo when healthy could easily be in our top 4. His issue is and always has been health

Isn't that like being grounded ? How often does that work.
I think a fine would work more.

Weber over Pysyk??

Oduya Risto
Gorges Bogosian
Carlo Pysyk
Weber Donovan

- bluengold12

Bylsma might go with some vet experience and play Weber. I don't care but you could make a case easily for Pysyk on the 3rd pair and Weber as the 7th. Donovan is very interesting, could be a diamond in the rough.

You moral police officers are hilarious. I am not judging the guy whatsoever for these actions, it would make me a hypocrite. Its clearly a dumb move and he should be smarter than this. Alas...

- ieetbred

It would make you a hypocrite if you continue to do it, not if you've done it in the past and know how wrong it was. Nothing wrong with learning from your mistakes.

As a "representative" of the moral police, he is not just some random guy, he is a public figure - on purpose - who plays at the whim of fans who pay for tickets and merchandise, and is part of a union who has agreed their members should follow a code of conduct.

I think all that those of us who are offended by his actions want is to see him get punished for this idiotic behavior, and under the circumstances of his stardom that he be made an example of that it's not just something to brush under the carpet, but that he can be seen as receiving punishment.

Most "normal" people would do jail time, likely lose jobs because of the inability to travel easily, etc. A guy in the public eye can live with the loss of some of his salary (which admittedly would be pitiful anyways since his salary is so little since it's all bonus) in exchange for the pedestal he's put on for being a public figure and not receiving such harsh treatment otherwise. And honestly, he should EMBRACE a suspension should it come, that would show me more about his personality - admitting his wrong, striving to change and show it, etc.

Saw that. Smart move by the Bills to wait until the legal process plays out
- bluengold12

Which in this case is understandable, same with ROR. Each instance has a different and appropriate response.

Don Meehan, agent for Johnny Oduya, said Oduya's "new team" will announce signing today. So, #Blackhawks are out of it.

Why is it the right thing? The right thing would be to punish him for his actions in the court of law comparably to your average person.

We should not be worried about what his employer does with him afterwards. Its their discretion.

A woman who was asked to leave a seafood buffet after spending four hours there and causing a disturbance told police that she planned to have “Jesus” pay her bill, according to a Police report.

Yates refused to pay her bill, the report states. She told the officer she did not have any money on her. The officer asked her if she knew she had no money when she entered, and she said yes. The officer then asked what she had planned to do when the bill came, and she said someone would pay the bill for her. When the officer asked who, she replied, “Jesus.”

Does this guy have credibility? Is anyone "big" picking up the same story?

Twitter is a shaky place, just wondering.

Since when are they right? Recently they said:

- Babccok to the Sabres, with a press conference the next day
- No more moves by the Sabres until training camp. The GMTM comes out the next day and says we're still in on Oduya.

‏@TheHockeyPress BREAKING NHL NEWS: Johnny Oduya will make his decision tomorrow regarding his new deal. Reports say BOS/DAL/BUF/CHI.

So, looks like we'll be waiting another day. CHI looks to be trying to make a trade with BOS to clear space for Oduya.

Johnny Oduya will not be re-signing with Blackhawks, according to a source.

That seems a little crazy for a first time offender who blew a .08 with minor property damage and no injuries. Not to say that DWI is a minor offense but jail time? Not for the first one, not in NY. At least not that I have ever heard of with similar circumstances.
