i know several people that have done that sober.. based upon my past i am in NO position to judge someone for driving with a 0.08 BAC.. therefore i stay out of this conversation

The unfortunate difference is he got caught. In no way do I condone the behavior, however sometimes a wake up call is needed. Glad the only things injured were a window and his ego/reputation. Could have been much worse.

And the Chicago board pretty much htinks he's gone. Though they are all talking that to keep him they need to make a trade today to clear space for him. Silly fans, any team can go over the cap by 10% during the offseason, so they'd only have to be cap compliant by September. Oduya is probably deciding between:

2 years and $7m from CHI
3 years and $14m from Dal
4 years and $20m from BUF

I'll be at UC Davis. Had a chance to visit there recently, very nice town... EVERYTHING seems to revolve around the school there...

Poor guys were probably drinking all day and night... it is 4am in the morning.

The town they were in only had 4500 people living in it... so you know Tim Hortons is the only 24 hour store open...lol.

They were probably hungry, and decide to make a quick trip for some grub...lol.

I'm sure the old pick up truck doesn't react as quickly turning... so he probably missed his turn and hit the building pulling in...

Looked around... nobody was there... so thought they better get out of there quickly!!!

Putting aside what may have happened, in NY, the case would not be prosecuted.

There is not one scintilla of proof that ROR operated the motor vehicle, or was aware who operated it. The only proof is that he was impaired (not illegal) and SOMEONE who is presently u identified appears to have used his vehicle at a taims it damaged the donut store.

I don't know if the system is different in Ontario, but the legal case is a pure loser in NY

I would bet that Bowman doesn't want to be forced into trading someone in September though. He'll get less of a return, which is probably why he doesn't want to sign anyone that puts them over. He'd rather make the room first and then sign guys. You get yourself into trouble if you do it the other way around.

There's some... mainly talk about how much money and how many pucks we can moneypuck out of.... i got nothing

Stil not sure what Kasdorf has at the pro level. I think he can definitely be a solid AHL goalie despite his recent stats at RPI(the team has not been good lately) and from there its almost a crapshoot for goaltenders, but he certainly has the style and skating to play at the next level.

As far as Cornel goes, I honestly have no idea. I haven't heard much about him since he was drafted but his shot struck me as something noteworthy and worth mentioning

Absolutely, yes. You can get to Sacramento very easily (and SF and Sonoma / Napa too, for that matter). Also Sierra Nevada brewery is nearby in Chico - great brewery and tour. PM me if you ever want any travel advice, and enjoy.
