Don't knock the Lingonberries until you try them. Make sure to wash it down with some good old fashioned Glogg too. - stljam
As a first generation American who's parents came from Sweden, a favorite breakfast of mine was lingonberries and hardtack with milk in a bowl like breakfast cereal - mmmmm yummy.

As a board we also decided that we are assuming Oduya owns businesses and huge swedish endorsement deals. - nurk
A couple of years ago Oduya bought the rights to the entire Swedish Meatball industry. Every time someone in the world even just mentions a Swedish Meatball, Oduya gets a commission! He and Hammer are probably working on the US rights to IKEA as well. |

If Stan can pull off getting Ehrhoff AND resign JO and Seabs, I promise I will NEVER say anything disparaging about him. For six months.

One of my favorite dinners are still my wife's Swedish meatballs, a recipe passed down from generations. Tasty.
Now Lutefisk on the other hand.....no thank you. |

Are lingonberries easy to find in this country? I mean outside of a certain furniture store of course. |

Fair to WHO? Mitt Romney?
So figure he has $15-20 million banked. he will never have to worry about a thing financially for the rest of his days on earth. -JJ
Quotes not working AGAIN.
FWIW, if his cumulative NHL earnings are $23M, his take home pay has certainly been less, probably half that. He has to pay taxes, agent, business manager, etc. Plus many cities now levy a tax on athletes for the away games that teams play in their city.
$12-15M in take home would be more reasonable, and out of that comes living expenses, multiple residences, moving expenses, etc. More likely JO has $5-8M in the bank. Not bad, but not good enough to set up multiple generations of little JOs. - scottak
Maybe the "future generations of little JO's" can make their own money, Mr. Entitlement. SMH

If enough of us complain to the resident Referee, maybe both you and Nurk will go away and go back to which ever board you came from. All the two of you are doing is trying to disrupt our board and it definitely is not wanted here |

I was hoping they could include his rights to get someone to take Bickell's hit.
Ryan Wilson's blog mentions his belief getting the Leasfs to take Scuderi's hit would have probably required adding Pouliot. If so, cap space is becoming a very expensive commodity. Someone like Mahoney may be holding out for McNeil or even better to take on Bick's hit. |

This is the thing with ranking prospects, under which set of criteria? The most likely to make the NHL, the most talent? If we are talking about the "most likely" to make the Hawks, then it would start with Panarin because Dano isn't a prospect, he's a top 6 forward for us, likely a winger on the top line. Then Johns, Danault and Hartman. These are the players that are fighting hard to make the Hawks out of camp. Pokka should be a HUGE part of the Hawks success moving forward, but likely not until next year. This is a make or break year for McNeil...he MUST force himself onto the NHL roster with his play at some point this season or he will be gone. Schmaltz is only 50/50 at this point...which is why going hard after College and INT FAs makes so much sense! Garret Ross should be on that list as well, as he could play responsibly for the Hawks right now! - MexicoHawk
And how well will Q deal with rookies? |
