Last night the news had about a five minute segment on the wildfires, and then like fifteen minutes talking about how hard of a time Vancouverites are having dealing with a little hazy smoke. The best (worst) was the people playing beach volleyball and complaining about how hard it was to breathe.

Here is what I saved, can't credit it properly though.

Lean ground beef
Ground pork
Thyme
Minced green onion
Worchestire
Finely minced jalapeño
Finely minced over cooked maple bacon
A little bit of the bacon grease
Egg
Panko
Siracha

Cooked on the BBQ, obviously.

I make an awesome homemade burger, they're so moist because I pre-mix them with;

eggs
onions
mustard
ketchup
BBQ sauce
garlic
worcestershire
salt
pepper
smashed up crackers/oatmeal
Franks

You won't go back. For the toppings I use spicy pickles (we just slice a jalapeño every time we buy a jar of pickles and toss it in) and dice a couple of tomatoes and marinate them in ponzu (my franks, I put that shlt on everything) balsamic vinegar, fresh minced thyme and basil, minced garlic and olive oil. Let the tomatoes marinate for at least an hour and when the burgers are done, drain and pile on top.

The liquid you get after draining the tomatoes makes a pretty good salad dressing as well.

Allows Van to either use backes as 2nd line Center or move him to the wing with the sedins if one of the rookie prospects makes the team. Bigger body in the top 6 is what I'm after.

Keep loading up on 4th liners that play 10minutes a game. Could use someone who is physical who plays 18 minutes a game. Backes had 227 hits last season and St. Louis seems to be going in a different direction. Ability to play Center or wing.
