They might need a really goooood defensive C. |

Pass. Armia hasn't looked all that great playing in the A. - EKolb13
He was shaky after the trade to WPG but before that he had 52 points in 87 games across 2 seasons in Rochester plus 6 points in 5 playoff games. I wouldn't write him off so quickly. I'd absolutely take him to get Versteeg's salary off the books. As JJ has said numerous times, no team NEEDS a Kris Versteeg. Getting a nice prospect in return for him seems like a steal to me. |

I find it amusing when people slag you or Ek for posting about RUMORS!! - SolGoode
The thing is with JJ he is not slinging monkey feces at a wall with everything he hears. He only slides things out that he has checked quite thoroughly (and yes some pans out some doesn't). But I appreciate his ability not to do what Ek does.
As far as Ek.. he just throws everything he hears at the wall and hopes something sticks.. I don't care about posting rumors, it's when you post everything you hear from some guy who posts on twitter to your most precious insider info. Do some checking like JJ does and vet some of the stuff. don't just sling everything out there. |

Emelin has too high AAV - Objective is cap relief - not return value. I'd rather have Oduya than Emelin and hopefully for less.

Can't see the Jets wanting to give up any of their other young prospects. Armia seems to be the most expendable. - JETSWIN
I'd give up Bickell for Armia. Do we have a deal? |

id love him here but the rumoured asking price is a bit scary, especially if he's on the downside. - DoubleDown
I saw the rumored asking price reported two different ways. One was with the word "and" in it. Another with the word "or". I tend to believe the 2nd part given his age, salary, etc.
I get the downside part because he is 33. However, his speed is still there. His shooting percentage this year was just terrible and he still put up 43 points in 68 games. 15 in 23 playoff games. If you look behind the numbers, it will show that when he was played in a top 6 role, his numbers are fairly consistent with his career averages.
Montreal would definitely have to either send salary back or make other moves to fit him, though. |

There's that. Then again, just moving Versteeg at this point to create room in the cap is kind of pointless. Bowman would still need to move one of Bickell or Sharp, and then some... - EKolb13
True, but if Stan has to take back salary in either of the Sharp/Bickell trades, then he probably has to trade all three or else have to trade Crawford or Shaw or ??? (please please please not even consider moving Seabrook ... oh please please please)
To me, the objective if to go into 2015/16 with Oduya, Kruger and Crawford and have a very good chance to repeat, AND to be able to afford to re-sign Seabrook next year. It matter very little to me to essentially give Sharp, Bickell and Versteeg away for peanuts to achieve that objective. |

I want to say it was 85 to 87 somewhere in there, great outdoor venue, poplar creek, what was cool is Petty came out first, then Dylan then an hour of them jamming together you could tell they were friends and having fun it was lot of fun, very fortunate to be apart of that concert. Petty won me over with his live performance he was outstanding.
The dead concert is more like an event now, Soldier field wow! - BetweenTheDots
85% of that show was hanging out in the lot with dead heads, and smoking pot lol Easily the most fun show I've ever been too and the best part was, half of the crowd was my parents age
For being as old as they were, they sounded great, but the music did leave a bit to be desired at certain points.

JJ if you had to guess where will Sharp end up based on what you've heard lately? I know you said Florida a couple weeks back. - BravePackCats27
Florida, Montreal, Detroit. Lots of possible landing spots though. |
