I'm guessing the longer this draws out...the less Stan gets back...so why not drag it out as a rival GM and try to get sharp for nothing

The reality is the NYI don't have the assets to acquire Seabrook. There would have to be a bonafide top pair D prospect in any deal for Seabrook. The Islanders don't have that in their system.

I'm extremely high on ryan pulock and scott mayfield will play soon but I don't think there would be a fit for seabrook. Pulock will play this year and most of our d are under 25, and I'm not sure they'd move any of them and pick up a much bigger contract in seabrook.

Those are "have to' trades anything gotten in return that could be considered useful is a bonus.

I'll be ecstatic if Bickell nets the Hawks a Pokka level prospect. Suspect that, even with a prospect going with Bickell, it may end up being a pick at best.

Sharp may net something like Leddy. There is value there.
