Yes - hope they're including their minority neighborhoods.

TB has sunk a lot of money into the program and it sounded like it was a broad reaching effort. The club buys some equipment etc for every kid...Sticks and other stuff I believe.

Nothing would surprise me any more. You'd think we target a D prospect and a pick.

Watch it be something like Sharp + Crow + 2nd for Luongo and rights to RFA Huber

I think he has been leaning on staying overseas but maybe a better opportunity for him Edmonton....He was a lotto ticket thrown in by Snow on the Leddy trade.

I would assume, given the lack of organizational goaltender depth, that a young goalie prospect will be coming back in a Cap-Dump trade. I don't want the Michael Leighton from 2010 in a Hawks jersey...2015 Leighton..

Raanta and now Nillson. Prolly 3-4 in the Hawks system??? Now gone and CC may have to go? Better get a vet back if CC goes... yeeshhh
- z1990z

The Hawks had the rights to Nilsson, but never had him under contract.

What's left:

NHL - Crawford, Darling
Minors - Leighton
Rights - Nalimov, Tompkins

A 4th or 5th and a prospect maybe a 3rd and a kid depending on if Bowman supplies an Ice Hog....my guess.

Not sure if fucale is in the Habs plans but wonder if two of morin, steeger, and mcneill would get him to chicago to replace some goaltending depth. Would imagine a goalie comes abck in one or 2 future trades

Florida site shows 5 goalies in the system.

Montreal Zac Furcale

Either they know Nilsson isn't coming over or they have the trade for Sharp worked out and a goalie they want to put in Rockford is in the deal.

I'm thinking CC isn't getting moved which means Stan knows has Bickell and maybe Versteeg moved as well.

Not much....but that's by design.

2015 Leighton..

I'm happy he's back in RKFD. Not a bad one to have at the AHL level.

Maybe it will be Sharp and Versteeg for a couple of low picks or Shawn Thornton.

If that's the case, is it safe to say Stan (frank)ed this one up?

Might need some time to get used to the smaller NHL ice tho. Like TT.
- Marlowe

I believe the out clause in his contract allows him to chose to go back to the KHL, so it's not a foregone conclusion that he will chose to do so if the Hawks tell him he needs a couple months in Rockford - but it's Panarin's decision so I gotta think they will give him every opportunity to acclimate to the NHL with the Hawks.

If you are looking for another piece involved I would think an Ice Hog and u could be correct on getting a goalie back. But Nilsson wasn't in the plans for next season.

Yep. All the organization lost with Nilsson was his rights. It didn't seem like he was going to sign here anyways.

I believe that is correct but hopefully for the Hawks sake if he doesn't make the roster he goes to Rockford.

Washington re-signs Kuznetsov, avoiding arbitration. Two years, $3-million a season. Will be a bargain.

Good veteran goalie for some leadership in the AHL for sure. But, there's a reason he hasn't had a job in the NHL for a few years..

U could look back on my Twitter timeline as to what I thought Sharp would garner before the Draft....I was conservative compared to the 1st rounder and vg prospects chatter that was going around everywhere.

But anything more than what I posted here would be a decent return. Can't trade him looking for a nice return now unless other players are thrown in the mix.
