I have to say, I was really impressed with O'Reilly's play when I saw him at the World Championships, even though he's never stood out to me *that much* with Colorado. I'm very interested to see what his ceiling will be in Buffalo.

And now they've fired head trainer Burnstein. For all those who have wanted to see the house cleaned, it's happening. I believe there is a plan, it is a tear down and rebuild. The expiring contracts are going to allow for more picks and dep being how the young look next year and how the team does, they'll probably take on more expiring contracts next year at the be of the season for more picks the year after.

This ain't for the weak-hearted, but it's what's needed.

From my understanding, bonuses are paid on either a specified date or upon achieving the milestone. His are likely signing bonuses, so every July 1 he collects, this would be paid in the summer (before a lockout is incurred), so would be paid. Also in the event of a buyout, its 2/3 remaining salary over the xx years, so if the $10m bonus was paid, the 2/3 value is taken with less 10m, easier buyout terms (I think, but could be wrong)
