I'm pretty sure they intend to do that, eventually. I remember a few Leaf games, more than a few, where they cut to Shanahan watching the game and just the look of disgust and contempt on his face lol...they want to indoctrinate the whole team with Babcock type guys, they will remove these guys so its Babcock's team.

I've always been very pro Kessel and relatively pro Phaneuf, but ultimately both are gonna be gone imo.
