I really thought that Derrick Pouliot would go the other way. But then I also thought scuderi and more salary would be going back. I like toronto pushing the real reset though.... i want them to be actually competitive again. Good for the nhl.

I agree....wasn't gonna call him a chubby (frank) myself because I don't want the ban, but you said it and it's hard to disagree.

Leafs 2nd rounder is pretty much PITs 1st rounder.

I was replying to someone else who mentioned 2 months but my point was they could have held on to him for a while. I would have been fine with keeping him for another full season. They traded him after his worst season as a Leaf. That's selling low.

this is a perfect move when you consider the players the leafs drafted this year and the prospects they already have.. they are building a team that will compliment each other

brilliant trade for a fat lazy guy who has become so ridiculously predictable on the ice he isnt even that effective anymore

Ive heard both.

If Tor Gave a 2nd rd pick it makes the deal a lot worse, if they got one it makes it a lot better.

Yeesh. So its Pitts 2nd going back, not the Leafs. So its kinda like 30th overall to LEafs and 90th overall and 60th overall going back.

I know it sounds stupid, if we're getting a 2nd round pick in the package with Kapanen, Harrington and the 1st, I'm a little more happier....but if we're giivng up the 2nd, I'm confused and pissed.

Yuk. Those draft picks damn near cancel each other out. The Leafs only move up between 6 and 18 spots realistically.
