It was supporting another point that the goaltending market is crap. Drafting an 18y/o kid is risky regardless of what round. Even now it isn't a sure thing to work out, many prospects have excellent rookie seasons and fail to replicate (not saying Horvat has shown any indication of such, but anything can happen)

I was fly fishing for Pike on Swan Lake just south of Dawson Creek and my buddy was in the boat with me gear fishing. He was using the classic Red Devil and doing well... but he was still behind my 54 Pike, 1 Walleye in 2 days on the fly.

I should have known it worked because when I was a kid everyone had that lure.

He has defensive issues but does have the skating and offensive upside. Let's hope they are massively working on his D skills...
