After watching what happened here the other day I think we could all try a little harder to get along.

I have been here a while and watched many Canucks Posters come and go, but you guys for the most part are a pretty good lot and have been fairly consistent.

It was tough to watch what happened go down.

I think we need to realize this is going to be a 3-5 year process with this team. It's going to be a rough ride for a couple years and we need to accept that instead of trying to fire our GM or trade our goalies every 5 minutes.

We have been pretty spoiled over the last 10-13 years with our team and don't think for one second that fans of other teams are going to let that go easily. Success ( at least for a Canucks fan-- Still no cup ) breeds haters.

Most of the posters on here are great, I take all drama with a grain of salt. I laugh at the clowns like Vantels stalker who come in here stirring things up. At the end of the day everyone if frustrated with the team right now and ranting, fair enough.

If anyone should have a rivalry its us because of our junior allegiances but I think that just gives us more in common.

That's my frustration... We look to have a solid group of forwards coming up, but without a couple studs on D they have no support.

We have seen what a bad D-Core can do to your goalies.

Those guys break you out of your zone at will, dictate the flow of the game and keep other teams pinned in their own end.

Without that D-Core we are dead in the water. No matter how good our centers may become.

We just don't have much and I don't see how a UFA will fix that.

You have to draft those guys.

As @DarrenDreger mentions, teams in trade mode today. As previously noted, Berglund's limited no-trade clause (6 teams) kicks in tomorrow.

I just can't visualize this team getting close to the points they got last year, based on the way the division improved recently. Benning has to move out salary, which essentially is a higher paid player(s). We insert youth and deal with the growing pains associated with that. That said we shouldn't expect to make the playoff's this year should we?

Benning acknowledged the Division & Conference got better. If he doesn't make a move to free up cap space in the next couple of days, it's going to be a long summer.
