I hope so... The dolphins have got rid of a lot of older players and are finally building through youth.... one team down; one to go... but unfortunately the canuck owners are as stubborn as my avatar. - MrMagoo
They still need some help on the O-line. I was pretty pissed they didn't use a late pick on Collins. |

Hypothetically speaking....trading the twins to say the Islanders for picks and prospects would really jumpstart your rebuild in a big way and you'd get off that middleling road to nowhere.
I think you can re-tool be on the fly, but you've gotta have some down years in there and draft really well outside of the first two rounds. - LeftCoaster
You can't trade the twins for picks and prospects. A significant amount of salary has to come back. Even in their last year and traded at the deadline, their hypothetical new team would have to absorb approximately 7m in real salary combined for the rest of the season.
You have to remember that they represent approximately 20% of the cap. In my view, they are virtually untradeable (with a small chance in their last year.)

Yes I think they are declining, I didn't say they're poop players. They're in fact still very good player. But declining, however slight, none the less.
Trading Miller gets you nothing. If you want to actually improve, trade the twins. - LeftCoaster
Can you trade the twins? Even if they could be convinced to waive, no small feat in itself, they would likely want to go to a contender and they would for sure want to go together. I can't see it happening. Not that I would be opposed. I would like the assets coming back and I would like to see them win a cup which they won't do here. |

If the twins go anywhere it will be to Fla. They have a lot of money invested in horses down there. Racing horses is their passion. Fla make too much sense.
TBO I think they retire canucks. |

O-line is a work in progress (10 years now). I don't expect much from either team when it comes to drafting; I want to see some creativity at the draft table, but I think we are asking too much. this last weekend was pretty much what i expected. |

I wouldn't be surprised to see them sign a one year deal or two for small money at the end. |

It's just another factor that makes the Canucks roster one of the most inflexible in the league. Generally when a team is in our position you can trade your best players, but our best players are a two for. Not to shlt on the Sedins, but it would be nice to have the option. |

Probably alot safer that way.
I am guilty of it myself as well from time to time, but people are looking to rip you.
Just a word of caution... Please don't mention practice. |

Can't afford the cap space of bieksa at start of season. Benning would be a failure of a gm to keep him - Retinalz
U cannot dump on JB for MG's contracts.
Bieksa has value n he will be moved when a deal is there. |
