Heard that! Patrick White, Jordan Schroeder? This wasn't the first draft we didn't have a 2nd round pick is it? (frank) San Jose, ship Bieksa somewhere else.

I don't think so JB said he would try and drop down the draft if BB wasn't available. That tells me they knew who they wanted and had someone they liked in the second round also. If SJ went for Bieksa he would probably have gotten the player he wanted in the 2nd also.

I guess part of his comment is that they traded Lack for peanuts, his opinion not mine, and they didn't trade Bieksa. Aaron Ward tried to politely call him an idiot.

YUP and look at the poop show that was. He waited too long on Bobby Luo, then went out and got what I still think less then what he should have gotten for Schneider.

Any time you trade a goalie for a top 10 pick you've done alright IMO, unless that goalie is a Price type.

The best thing for this team would be to miss the play offs this season, and force management to trade assets away for picks at the TDL.

A young proven goalie with a cheap cap hit. Sounds a little more then a top 10 pick to me. At least a prospect with it.
