If we can get better defensemen and play better defense then I dont view goaltending as a serious issue but if our defense sucks and we have to lean on our goalies then yes maybe it becomes an issue but im not ready to say yet that we have surpassed the Nucks because who knows what free agency will bring

You haven't surpassed the Canucks until you finish higher in the standings for multiple years (or win the cup again). Even with McJesus you still have a long road ahead.

I think it's a brilliant deal, trade him to the Habs already. It would be nice if he could produce like that without the twins to up his value, but then we might hold onto him.

Last hockey trade we made was Hodgson for Kassian. As big as it was at the time it looks like it will go down as a footnote.
