I know we can argue about KB until the cows come home. I like him as a player, he would probably do well in San Jose. However he’s just been here too long and it’s time for someone to step up and fill that role (easier said than done). The defence on this team is a mess and needs a major rebuild. I’m not even sure we have the players to accomplish this. The team and KB both need a fresh start. Take the 2nd rounder in 2016 or sweeten the pot and get Dillon as well. - VanHockeyGuy

Can you give us your phone number so we can call you at least . Just post it on your profile - VANTEL
Sure. It's 555-2368.
I just couldn't handle anything hockey related with the Blackhawks winning the Cup again. Gave me violent nausea. |

Fistric Peranteau and Mike Richards all put on waivers for buy out. Are you watching this Benning? Old guys that can't be moved? |

Dillon > Bieksa - VANTEL
Would be great, however unlikely. Wilson said he will continue ongoing trade talks. JB said he wasn't focused on trading KB at the draft so that kind of conflicts with what Freidman said in 30 thoughts. Take the 2nd rounder. Lets fix the D. |

Not that I think they have anyone in mind but it restricts them frm making offers in Free agency. Maybe that's a good thing - VANTEL
They don't want any free agents, that would piss me off. Stay the course and slowly sink to the bottom, build through the draft. |

(frank) I know LA won the Cup but Philly robbed them blind when they took Brayden Schenn and Wayne Simmonds off their hands for Mike Richards |

Esplen had a good write up on the Canucks draft on Twitter. Like most controversial posts , he will probably have 40/60 agree/ disagree with him. He brought up a good point about TO trading the 24 down for three picks and he also questions the theme Change is coming. |

Vrbata was a good pick up. That said we should trade him for a pick. |

Change is coming - that doesn't imply WHEN, so technically it's still correct. |

In a way I kinda feel bad for KB...but if he is as concerned about uprooting his family 2 times in a short span than he has to realize he has lost a step and from here on out is a role guy 6/7 ...which are a dime a dozen really ...you want stability for your family Kevin ? Than add a few more teams to your trade list and be prepared to sign for much much less than your getting ....there's your stability |

Yes he was, and I really like the hockey they played last year during the regular season, it was fun to watch again. That said, I hope Vrbata is moved for a pick and prospect this year. |

It depends on what the "playoff" picture looks like. |

I think you get a pick. Not many teams trading prospects for players over 30 |

I still think KB should be moved and that money used on a forward. Frolik may not be the forward we all want but he's quite serviceable up and down the line up. I still don't get why guys like higgins, burrows are still here. They have to be worth something to someone. (frank)ing Arizona took on pronger and gross man for gagner. I would have given burrow and bieska and taken back gagner. For all the slack he gets he would have been like 6th on our team in scoring last season. |

Seriously? You wanna go out and get UFA's so the team can stay in the middle of the pack again? What the hell's the sense in that? Let the younger players come in and play, they need to know the organization is willing to give younger players a shot at earning a spot.
Signing those guys just prolongs the inevitable, things are about to go south, brace yourself because it's gonna happen....and it's gonna be better for the future of the club than middling around the 17th to 23rd draft position. |

Bieksa has pointed out already he is not interested in moving twice. When a player tells you that vital information , you listen and run with it.
He is a family man first and the chances of moving his wife and kids( if they go to school?) in February are slim to none , and once again you will get zero return. |
