If Buffalo was smart they wouldn't trade eichel for all bostons picks in the draft. They have tons of prospects eichel is the last and prize piece to the rebuild they don't move if for three players likely worse then reinheart. The Devils are the only team I could actually believe trading a franchise pick for a bunch f ok stuff because they believe in team offense and what not.

Hard to compete in a rebuilding world when teams with serious assets are rebuilding the same time we are as they swoop in a steal a lot of the assets we should be looking to get. It pisses me off because we could have a top four pick. Before this season started Toronto had no business finishing below us let alone two spots. Everything is about timing and we seem to miss it.

I wonder if Boston moves their consecutive firsts (14,15) for 3rd overall...

Edit: If they do, then they actually traded Hamilton for 3rd overall and a couple of 2nds, which is better than an outright Hamilton for 3rd overall deal.
