What he offers is character n savvy n dressing room boosts.

Other teams may covet him for the short term.
The market for D is ok but price is what will determine everything.

Hard to pick cuz all make sense to me.
Depends on if a package or straight up for picks n contract extension.
Veteran D like BK r in demand atm n usually r good scoops by any team.

If a Lack/KB package then buffalo for say #31 #51 n 2016 2nd or 3rd.
If CBJ then #33 n as for other options idk JB's feel.
Wings need a righty.

To clarify, #canucks have spoken to Bieksa about moving on. He's agreed to waive if the right trade comes. A trade hasn't been finalized.

Ya but o'reilly is asking for 60 mill on his next contract. I wish gm's would just blackball players like him out of the league. 2 contracts in a row he's being a wiener. There is fighting for the right price but what he is doing is annoying.

We’re going to have at least 1 healthy scratch in strait or hickey, and two young guys (likely Mayfield and reinhart) in the ahl to start the season.

We declined to bring back visnovsky so an aging vet wouldn’t be blocking the roster spot for pulock (almost certainly makes the team, 100mph slapshot and solid frame)

Theres really no fit for bieksa. Personally, I think he’s dropped off a cliff and won’t get back anywhere near where he was, and I don’t want him, but that’s just my opinion.

I think a lot of it is semantics.

He has likely been asked if he would waive. I think when there is a deal in place, he will be asked to waive. Especially if he wants to have a chance to talk to the other team before he decides, see if they want to extend.

So, whatever is going on, I think the team is communicating with his agent and there is a good chance something is going to happen.

Haven't heard much talk on Hamhuis. It is like the fans and media have decided to trade Bieksa. I Like Hamhuis, but would be curious to see what type of return he would garner?

He's not even on the Canucks roster. Let Roy deal with him. Anyway he clearly wants out of COL so it's exorbitant wage demands are way to do it.
