Yeah, as much as it's sad to see Bieksa go, the big win here is that a spot opens up for a younger and cheaper player on the back end. Whatever we get back in return is just gravy.

My take is , Canucks and Sharks have agreed on a trade, Bieksa has accepted. Sharks have agreed to extend KB . Paperwork to be signed. Announcement later today.

My uncle caught a 29 3/4 lb Rainbow Trout on Kootenay lake. I think I was about 10... Took him around 2 hours to land.

I'd loose a little faith in Benning if that's his move. Franson is not worth 5 mil a season.

After watching Bieksa play last season it's clear he doesn't want the character role here anymore. While I'm sure we all appreciate the good things he has done here it is time...and replacing him at this point will be very easy.

Lack not so much. He is still our best option out of Markstrom/Miller/Lack but he will garner the most return and fill a need for our club which we have to have badly at this point. Plus many feel Lack just isn't our next 5 year starter.
